PREGNANT MINNIE DRIVER TAKES DIP

MINNIE DRIVER enjoys the last few days of her pregnancy with a cooling dip in the Pacific Ocean.

The 38-year-old singer/actress is expecting her first child any day now, which she has admitted she is ‘hoping’ will be a baby girl.

Over the weekend, the Good Will Hunting star took her mind off the impending birth with a relaxing day on Malibu Beach with another expectant friend and her dog Bubba.

Dressed in contrasting blue bikini bottoms and Zellij patterned top, Minnie looked tanned and healthy as she proudly showed off her enormous baby bump.

The actress has refused to name the baby’s father since announcing her pregnancy in March and recently admitted she wasn’t sure if she would stay with him after the birth.

She told the New York Post: ‘I’m not married and I don’t know if I’ll stay with the guy.

‘It’s great to be an independent creature. Today you don’t need a man any more.

‘In the old days, if you had a baby without marriage, people would put you out. I’m very into feeling this female thing.’

In May, Minnie denied reports Californian musician Craig Zolezzi was the father of her unborn child.

DR. DRE’s SON FOUND DEAD

it’s another sad day in hiphop

Just another sad day.

The 20-year-old son of Grammy award-winning rapper and producer DR. DRE was found dead over the weekend at his home in Woodland Hills, California, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

ANDRE YOUNG JR. was out with friends Friday night and his mother later found him “unresponsive in bed” when she tried to wake him early Saturday morning, coroner’s spokesman Ed Winter told Reuters. She immediately called paramedics, who later pronounced Young dead at the scene.

“Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr. Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time,” said a statement released by his spokeswoman.

An autopsy was conducted and the cause of death is still pending toxicology and other tests, which may take six weeks or more, Winter said.

MTV wrote on its site that fans have offered their support for Dr. Dre, sending him their condolences and well wishes through his MySpace page. One fan even wrote “Our prayers are with you and your family.”

Dr. Dre has recorded several hit albums, including NWA’s classic Straight Outta Compton, and his solo release 2001. The gangster rap pioneer has also crafted hit songs for Eminem, 50 Cent and The Game.

His new solo album Detox is scheduled to be released later this year. Dr Dre has four other children: sons Curtis, 26, Marcel, 17, and Truth, 11; and daughter Truly, 7.

DH wants to give sincere condelences to Dr. Dre and his family at this time.

A TRANSGENDER TO BE NEXT TOP MODEL?

… we bet. One of the 14 girls who will compete on the new season of America’s Next Top Model – which returns to The CW on September 3 – is transgender.

“My cards were dealt differently,” Isis, a 22-year-old former receptionist, tells Us Weekly exclusively in its new issue, on newsstands now.

Hailing from Prince George’s County, Maryland, Isis identifies herself as “a woman born physically male.”

Will she be a role model?

“I like to help people, but I’m here to follow my dreams,” she tells Us.

The inclusion of Isis is being hailed by GLAAD president Neil Giuliano as “an unprecedented opportunity for a community that is underrepresented on television.

“We applaud Tyra Banks and The CW for making this historic visibility of transgender people possible,” Giuliano said.

LOHAN’s STALKED BY MANAGER

A man claiming to be LINDSAY LOHAN and ‘Gossip Girl’ star BLAKE LIVELY’s manager has been revealed as a fake, the ladies’ rep stated.

According to the New York Post, a man going by the name of Roy Cohen has been calling high-end fashion boutiques and asking retailers to extend their trading hours to accommodate his clients.

Leslie Sloane Zelnik, Lohan’s rep, clears up the matter telling Page Six, “He doesn’t rep Lindsay or Blake and no one knows who this creep is.”

THE GAME WANTS BEEF WITH JAY-Z

THE GAME has reignited his war of words with JAY-Z, claiming the hip-hop heavyweight is not “hardcore” enough to respond to his taunts.

The Dreams hitmaker, real name Jayceon Taylor, first took offence to Jay-Z when he mistook a lyric in one of the superstar’s songs as an attack on him. Jay-Z denied the rumours and insisted there was no ill feeling towards The Game.

However, the Los Angeles-based MC still continued on his counter-attack, and took shots at Jay-Z and his artists at Roc-A-Fella Records at a 2005 gig in
London.

He rapped in a freestyle: “Memph (Memphis) Bleek can suck my d**k/Beanie Sigel can suck my d**k/Jay-Z can suck my d**k/Roc-A-Fella can suck my d**k.”

The 99 Problems star refused to retaliate, and insisted he would rather “Just let him (The Game) commit suicide”.

Now The Game has taken aim at Jay-Z again, accusing the rap mogul of being a coward for not responding.  He says, “I’m too disrespectful for Jay-Z, I go to hard. His beef is mediocre beef, it’s more swag and less hardcore. Me, I go in on your grandma, your kids and your girl… It will get ugly and I don’t mind… So basically, let me commit suicide because I’m the only cat to commit suicide and resurrect every time…”

But The Game admits he is still a fan of his rival’s music – even though he intends to continue insulting Jay-Z to provoke a diss.

He adds, “I can be a fan of Jay and still rip him limb from limb lyrically and still be a fan. After I finish him off, I’m still going to listen to (Jay-Z’s album) Reasonable Doubt afterwards. I’ll kiss Jay goodbye with his own lips. I’m going to make him mad enough to where he has to say something. Jay I’mma (I’m going to) make you so mad you gonna have to diss me…”
