JESSICA SIMPSON is turning her back on pop music to concentrate on becoming a country legend.

The singer is preparing for the September release of her new album of country tracks, and the Texan native already feels more comfortable in her new genre.

Simpson tells Elle magazine, “I will never do pop again.”

And she is happy to let her sister Ashlee concentrate on topping the charts and appearing on pop shows – because her sibling is a better dancer.

Simpson adds, “I’m just not rhythmic like that. I might shake my booty, but I’ll be off the beat. My sister Ashlee has got all the rhythm in the family.”
