While on stage at the BET Hip-Hop Awards to accept his award for Lyricist of the Year, rapper LIL WAYNE took the opportunity at the mic to announce that he was expecting his first son in a “couple of days.”

Beating out Jay-Z, T.I., Kanye West and DJ Khaled for the MVP of the Year award, the tatted-up musician dedicated it to his daughter. He told the crowd, “I got a son about to be born any day now, so shout-out to him. Pray for me.”

Also the winner of the People’s Champ Award, the New Orleans native was recently rewarded handsomely for his work in the studio with a million-dollar suitcase on his birthday. That’s a whole lotta diapers…
