“the industry we got now is bad”
“I want you to hear this”
By John Charles Reedburg
Nerves.
Former video vixen KARRINE STEFFANS, who’s infamously known for her appearances in a number of Hip Hop videos and her New York Times best-selling book “Confessions Of A Video Vixen”, gives a speech at Cal State Northridge University. Steffan exclaims to a crowd of boisterous students, “Men, you can’t rap. Stop trying to be rappers. The industry we got now is bad.”
After answering several questions from the group of college students. Steffans became defensive when she was heckled by a woman in the audience. Boldly stating, “What’s changed is what I do. I am not what I do. I’m not what I’ve done. I am not my past,” Steffans explained to the crowd. “My past does not define me as a woman. As a mother, as anything. And as I stand here, don’t break your concentration to look at me. I want you to hear this.”
“You’re not getting paid to speak, I really want you to listen to me,” Steffans demanded. “What I want you to know is that I am who I am and I don’t change.”
She also speaks on her hard times, son, and relationships. Things also gets a little heated when Karrine gets into a verbal confrontation with some chick in the audience.

Don’t care what anyone says — Karrine is sexy to me. I like a slutty ole’ broad. LOL! I seen some of her videos. BTW, fat girl in the audience was probably just jealous.
