Another one, soon to bite the bust.

TYRA BANKS is one of few celebrities who manages to keep her personal life out of the spotlight, thanks in large part to her refusal to date fellow celebrities. Sure, Tyra once dated NBA pro Chris Webber (about whom she cried on an episode of The Tyra Banks Show two years ago), but she’s never embraced attention over a relationship (a la Jennifer Lopez). She told Ebony, “One thing I can say is I try not to date people who are famous because one celebrity plus another celebrity equals five…the paparazzi will just start mixing my name with theirs,” noting that she prefers to be set up on dates by her friends.

Tyra is currently dating Wall Street banker John Utendahl, who founded the United States’ largest African-American owned investment group. He and Tyra were spotted at the West Hollywood eatery Beso (owned by Eva Longoria Parker) over the weekend. Tyra didn’t crack a smile for the pesky paparazzi, but we hope she’s happy in her current relationship – I, for one, would love to see Tyra become a mother, so she can overshare all kinds of maternal business on her talk show.
