How odd is this?

It’s quite possible that PLAXICO BURRESS’ wide receiver position on the New York Giants is cursed. How else can you explain not only Burress, but now his replacement being shot in the leg?

It was announced today that TAYE BIDDLE, who was promoted to Burress’ open WR spot, was shot in the hand and leg today while outside a home in Decatur, Ala. He underwent surgery on his hand and was released form a local hospital. The shooting is still under investigation.

Now, there are many explanations for this odd occurrence, here are a few:

1. Some NFL players carry guns, they hang out with people who carry guns and often times they anger people that carry guns, so the odds of them getting shot are pretty high.
2. Someone accidentally shot Biddle (it’s not impossible to think someone could accidentally discharge their weapon, just ask Burress).
3. Burress has left some sort of curse on his position with the Giants.

No matter what the official investigation finds, I’ve got some advice for the next wide receiver to fill the spot: Stay far away from guns, or anyone you know who has a gun.
