Add this to the Internet rumors about Rihanna and Chris Brown pile, but according to New York Post, JAY-Z “hit the roof” when he found out about the alleged fight between the two. The daily quotes a source close to the rapper:
“He hit the roof. Chris is a walking dead man. He messed with the wrong crew. Jay-Z is the man primarily responsible for Rihanna’s rise to fame, but he’s also been something of a guardian to her as well.”
In a 2007 interview with People magazine, she said:
Guys will talk to Jay first before they try to approach me. He’s very protective. Jay has my best interests in mind. If it’s a good guy I know Jay won’t shut him down. But if he’s not, Jay will be like, “No, no, no.”Meanwhile, there’s still been no official word on what exactly happened on Sunday, with the LAPD today receiving instructions from the Los Angeles District Attorney to gather more evidence in the mounting case against Chris Brown.
There is, however, some unofficial accounts. E! Online released this, purportedly from someone “close to the investigation,” and it does not do Chris Brown any favors:
Shortly after midnight, things blew up. Brown pulled his silver Lambourghini to the side of a street in L.A.’s Hancock Park neighborhood. That’s when, per the source, Rihanna grabbed the car keys and tossed them out the window, sending Brown into a rage.
He tried in vain to find the keys, then came back to the car, put his hands around her neck and, according to the insider, said, “I’m going to kill you!”
The 20-year-old “Disturbia” singer told police that she lost consciousness, the source says, and when she awoke, Brown had fled.
According to the source, her right eye was blackened and badly swollen and she had hand prints on her arms. The responding officers were so concerned about her, they drove Rihanna to the hospital in their squad car instead of waiting for an ambulance. Brown has been charged with making criminal threats, and was released on $50,000 bail.
You know posting this is bullshit. The quote is attributed to a Source, not Jay-Z…..no where is Jay-Z quoted as saying “Chris is a walking dead man”. Again the words came from a source and the source sis not say Jay said that:

I’m not for all the hittin a woman and everything, but i never been a fan of rhianna… other stories say that chris brown and rhianna have a violent relationship period like most ppl in my hood that call the cops every weekend on their spouse type thing. thats their business. I also think that its none of jayz’s business really if anything he should back away before those rumors about him and rhianna erupt again… please dont pick at scabs because they can bleed. i feel bad for the both of them so young and chris brown’s career is basically done. its like another ike story… the music and contribution made to entertainment will not be ignored and abuse will be all he’s known for. so sad.
This is rediculous period no one is telling the whole story and it pisses me off! Rihanna reportedly told she put hands on him first he also had bruses! I’m a firm believer if you dish it you can take it! Knowing he has a anger issue why take his keys and throw them? I’d be pissed too!! Get real and stop playing the media it was a mutual combat and she should have went to jail too! All his stuff is getting pulled hers should too! I’m not even a chris brown fan! I love Rihanna’s music but this has gonr too far. Than to say that its not the first time get real if so why did she stay with him? Why didn’t she say something then? i think what chris did was very wrong ane people can dress it up as much as they want, but at the end of the day he hit a women. it doesn’t matter if rihanna was being a total bitch no women deserves it and i am a big fan of chris brown! jay-z is right imagine it its like someone hitting your sister or cousin or maybe even you daughter. you are going to be soo pissed and you yourself will want to kill them! dont deny it because you know it was true. i personally think they shouldnt get back together because a they are still young and b imagine what it will be like when they are married. but i do still lik Chris Brown’s talent and i hope that his career wont go down the drain but i also hope rihanna is doing well.
