Singer MELANIE BROWN explored her spiritual side after her split from EDDIE MURPHY – she eased her heartache by meditating.

The former Spice Girl had a short-lived romance with the Beverly Hills Cop star in 2006, and gave birth to his daughter Angel Iris in April 2007.

And Brown admits she found it easy to put the relationship behind her – by taking part in meditation sessions.

She says, “I split up with him, I moved out to the beach and was happy… I was in England with my mum. I wasn’t depressed. I don’t think like that. After a break-up, I want to talk it all out and get my feelings out, so I never feel bad like that.

“I go to friends and talk and talk. Either that or I meditate. I have a drive to go, ‘Screw you, look at me now’.”
