twitter vs. the jitters LOL!
MC Cain asserts, “Karl Rove follows me on Twitter. That’s creepy”

I wonder what John would say about this.
In a weekly column on the “Daily Beast” that has quickly become must-read material for political junkies, MEGHAN McCAIN called out none other than conservative mastermind KARL ROVE on Monday.
Why? Because he’s lurking her Twitter account.
Meghan has 24,239 followers on Twitter, and for the most part she’s been perfectly happy with the service. But some of her followers are apparently creeping her out.
Karl Rove follows me on Twitter. That’s creepy. I joined Twitter a few months ago; so far, it has been a liberating way to transition from political to personal blogging. It’s allowed me to share the less serious aspects and humorously uncensored moments of my life. But there’s also been a downside: I am now being followed by Karl Rove, and my local sheriff [Joe Arpaio], and God knows how many other political pundits. We need to take Twitter back from the creepy people. McCain goes on to complain that most conservatives are just using Twitter to make themselves look plugged-in and cool to the younger generation, even though most of them use ghost-Twitterers to write their posts.
For his part, Rove follows 38,653 Twitterers compared to McCain’s 64, so it would definitely seem like McCain has the more manageable list, thus allowing her to interact more directly with her fellow micro-bloggers. At a time when the debate is raging over whether celebrity Twitterers are ruining the service by turning it into a PR tool, I can’t say Meghan is totally out in left field on this one.
