WHAT’s HOTT! ABOUT RASHEEDA!?!
Quite a few things …
Rasheeda started out as a member of the teenage hip- hop trio Da Kaperz, which was signed to D-LO Entertainment and is still who Rasheeda is signed to till this day. When D-LO decided to launch her solo career they joined forces with Motown Records and released her solo, debut album Dirty South in 2001. The album contained the dirty south anthem, “Do It (Do Da Damn Thang)” with Pastor Troy. Her follow up was 2002’s “A Ghetto Dream” released independently thru D-Lo Entertainment. That album featured collaborations with the superstars of crunk, Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz and secured Rasheeda’s place as “The Queen of Crunk”.
Georgia Peach, released in 2006, was her third release, and her second successful independent album this album showcased the sexy-side of Rasheeda and claimed her as one of most talented rap artist in the game. Her fourth endeavor Dat Type of Girl released in June 2007 has guest appearances from platinum artist, BABY, and mulitplatinum crooner, Akon. The album also showcases some southern favorites, Pastor Troy, The Dream, Jazze Pha, Diamond and Princess of Crime mob, Fabo and Kandi. Rasheeda’s growth as an artist, person and strong independent woman reeked on this album dominating the underground hip-hop scene with her sexy club bangers “My Bubble Gum”, “Touch Ya Toes” and Type of Gurl while creating a national persona like no other female MC.
Rasheeda is ready to fill the void of strong, missing, female voices that hip- hop seems to be lacking right now and her new single “Boss Chick”, coming off her soon to be fifth release titled “Certified Hot Chick” set to drop in early 2009, is doing just that. Rasheeda is hitting the hammer on the head with hot anthems such as: Show Ya To The Door, Where Ya Been, Don’t Let Him Get Away and the sexy Juicy Like A Peach.
Rasheeda is geared up to be a dominating figure this sexy Georgia Peach is not only ready to take over hip–hop but she is ready to take over the world.
