JENNIFER HUDSON, who has for weeks denied that she has a baby on the way, is most definitely pregnant. Either that, or her friends enjoy throwing baby showers for people at random.

Singer/actress Felicia Fields, a friend of Hudson’s, told the Chicago Tribune that Jennifer is indeed pregnant, saying of the party she and other friends threw for Hudson in Chicago, “It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family. They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet.”

Which is why she’s telling the papers, huh?

Hudson, 27, is one of the brightest stars to come out of American Idol. After finishing seventh in the third season of the show, she went on to win an Academy Award for her performance in Dreamgirls.

Hudson is engaged to DAVID OTUNGA, best known for his appearance on the reality TV show I Love New York. He was by her side during the tragic murders of her mother, brother, and nephew in Chicago last fall.

RIHANNA confirmed as appearing in court to testify against CHRIS BROWN!

Riri’s attorney Donald Etra revealed that prosecutors in the assault case have issued a subpoena for the Barbados beauty to testify during a prelim hearing in LA on June 22.

Etra said Rihanna will comply with the order to appear in court.

Meanwhile a judge today rejected a motion by Brown’s barristers to receive police and investigative files regarding the case.

At issue is a photo of battered Rihanna that was leaked on the internet.

The judge told Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos that the motion was premature and he could file again after the prelim hearing which will determine if there is enough evidence to try Brown in the accused beat-down of ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown hasn’t shown his face in court since April after entering a plea of not guilty as he has been too busy hanging with his celebrity homeboys and cutting YouTube vids.

Is it me, or does Phil Spector look like a gobblin with a jherri curl? LOL!

Music producer PHIL SPECTOR has been sentenced to 19 years to life in prison for the murder of actress LANA CLARKSON.

A Los Angeles judge sentenced Spector on Friday to 15 years to life for second-degree murder and four years for personal use of a gun. The judge is also ordering restitution payments.

A jury convicted the 69-year-old Spector in the fatal shooting of Clarkson at his home in 2003.

Spector plans an appeal.

“Six years ago, Phil Spector was barely a blip on the American celebrity radar screen. Although his music lived on, his name and face were only dimly recalled by rock music aficionados until a shooting at his Alhambra mansion propelled him to notoriety.

He was a music producer, a behind-the-scenes guy whose ideas changed the sound of rock music. He invented the “Wall of Sound,” a revolutionary recording technique. And he was known for bizarre behavior. Famous, yes. A celebrity? Not in today’s pop culture.

Spector is a frail and ailing 69-year-old for whom the mandated minimum sentence of 15 years would likely be a life sentence. His lawyer says he is enduring jail by focusing on his plans to appeal.

‘Star’ magazine claims ‘Vogue’ editor Anna Wintour lost interest in Rihanna after some racy photos hit the Internet

Honestly, I’m still eager to see the allege Chrihanna sex tape!

Earlier this month, nude photos of a woman who appeared to be RIHANNA leaked onto the internet, quickly splashing over all the major gossip sites. While it’s unclear whether those photos were actually of Rihanna – none of the photographs featuring actual nudity showed any part of the posing woman’s face – they may have cost her.

According to Star Magazine (via Hollyscoop), Rihanna had been approached by famed Vogue editrix ANNA WINTOUR about a potential cover story for the magazine. A source said, “Anna told her Vogue absolutely loves her and really wanted to work with her. Rihanna was ecstatic.”

After the photo scandal (which seemed to blow over in a matter of hours), Wintour cut off all communication with the songstress, who has faced a trying year, to say the least. The source continued, “Anna hasn’t returned any of her calls. Rihanna’s so upset….She hopes the people at Vogue change their minds.”

Assuming this story is true – and Star has a pretty crappy track record when it comes to Rihanna – it’d be pretty unfair for Vogue to ditch her over a bunch of nude photos. Its current cover model, Cameron Diaz, was once involved in a topless photo scandal, in case anyone’s forgotten.

So much for sporty wordplay. When TYRESE GIBSON subbed the word “Lakers” for “flag” in his National Anthem performance at the LA Lakers game Wednesday night, fans didn’t appreciate the switch and proceeded to boo him loudly.

Tyrese presumably thought fans would take to the phrase “our Lakers were still there” just fine, but he must have underestimated the patriotism of the crowd. It was, after all, just days after Memorial Day.

According to E! News, Gibson hasn’t commented on the event, but he did post on his Twitter account this morning:

”Good Morning….. I feel sick this morning… Sometimes you have to listen to your body and rest.. My day is canceled.. Sleepy time!.. Sounds innocent enough, but you have to wonder if the boos might have injured his spirit and brought on this “sickness.”

Executive VP of the Lakers Jeanie Buss did comment on the controversy, also via Twitter. She first said (incorrectly), “Anthem was awesome—star Tyrese sang and subbed word Lakers for Rockets and place went crazy,” and later followed up with:

“Some people upset with changing words in anthem. No disrespect intended.”
