a little too close for comfort, some might add:

“Let me just say shame on any magazine or blog that post pics of us in the Miami airport”

Moments and times of the shamed and shameful.

While on a trip with wife NICOLE RICHIE and infant daughter Harlow, JOEL MADDEN thought the paparazzi got a little too close for comfort.

While Joel and Nicole may be used to swarms of shutterbugs, Harlow wasn’t, and Madden says that flashes and noise frightened his daughter.

Lashing out in a long series of tweets on Twitter, the Good Charlotte rocker said:

“Let me just say shame on any magazine or blog that post pics of us in the Miami airport. The photographers were acting like animals.

it was the first time I’ve ever seen my child scared. Not cool for any parent to see. At least in LA they gave us some space.

These guys were sticking flashes in her face and bumping in to us and yelling. The most unnecessary force I’ve ever seen.

I get annoyed when people complain about photogs too, i mean leaving clubs and resturaunts you gotta’ expect it. But this was just wrong

And that’s all I’ll say about that. I guess its a different kind of animal that I will never accept or understand.”

After cooling off for a few minutes, Madden seemed to consider that perhaps a change of pace, or even religion, was in the works, replying to a concerned fan:

Some people invite it,  guess its exciting for the yonng’ns in hollywood. Maybe we should become quakers Luckily, Harlow herself is doing fine, with Madden saying that “She’s always a happy little girl. She was just scared and confused.” Madden has also encouraged magazines and websites to not purchase any photos of the family in the Miami airport. So far, according to Madden, many aren’t.”

So let this be a lesson to paprazzi: if you want to make any money off the Madden family, keep a respectful distance next time the family flies through Miami.
