One could only imagine the type of things an oil field employee must go through to be fit for the job. As this couldn’t be the idea gig for a sensitive person. Nor the idea job for someone quite like me. It’s not that I am a sensitive person. Or that I don’t have thick skin.
The reason why I couldn’t be a worker on the oil fields is because frankly, I wouldn’t take the crap! And when I say crap, I’m not referring to the long hard hours or the grit. I’m referring to the screaming and scolding from the bosses, getting in my face would be a very big no-no. LOL!

In being a working reality TV producer I applaud tru-TV for not only exemplifying real people in real life situations but also capturing the honest reactions of these people as well. Even though, there are a WHOLE lot of reality shows – that are scripted [and I won’t point any fingers] . Tru-TV go beyond this trend by exemplifying that quality reality television can take place without [a term used in reality TV] a “soft-script” or a pre-written story outline.
I believe “Black Gold” is a prime example of tru-TV’s slogan, “It’s not reality. It’s actuality.”
I will be definitely tuning in this season.
