Rumors are flying that TYRA BANKS and her investment banker beau JOHN UTENDAHL may be tying the knot soon. The cause of all the furor is a large diamond ring that Banks was spotted sporting recently while out and about, causing some to wonder whether Utendahl had proposed.

However, the rumors appear to be just that, with not much truth behind them. A spokesperson for Tyra Banks released a statement, saying, “Tyra is not engaged. It’s her high school ring and she wears it almost every day.”

The two have been seeing each other for two years, and are often photographed entering and leaving LA-area hotspots. However, both Banks and Utendahl have remained tight-lipped about their relationship, with even the famously over-sharing Banks usually preferring to keep quiet on the subject of her love life.
