INMATES in state prison participate in weightlifting competition as a way to relieve stress.

   I worked inside a medium security prison for 8 years with free weights. Never had a problem. The inmates valued that activity to such a degree they made sure no one acted inappropriately. Prison is incredibly boring. It is good exercise and a good hobby for many men. It never was a security issue.
