is there any reason to speculate for a chris bridges run in 2012 …?
“There will be solutions to these issues if the young people and the people on Capitol Hill come together“
HOTT NEWS!
Latest efforts are lot more helpful, if any!
Never the one to bite his tongue Chris “LUDACRIS” Bridges appeared at ease behind the lectern Friday touting The Ludacris Foundation at the National Press Club as reported by the Washington Examiner:
“Immediately you wonder if I’m running for office; maybe for president in 2012?” he said.
“I’m here to tell you I’m not, so you don’t have to worry about that.”
The rapper visited Washington for his foundation’s sixth annual benefit dinner, which was being held in D.C. for the first time. There, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., was honored with the first Ludacris Foundation Congressional Leadership Award.
Musician Quincy Jones and BET Chief Executive Officer Debra L. Lee were among others who also were honored.
The foundation is dedicated to helping young people achieve their dreams, and Bridges said he now realized that may require some government partnerships.
“There will be solutions to these issues if the young people and the people on Capitol Hill come together,” he added.
