A Detroit Grandmother is accusing her own grandson 19-year-old step-grandson LEE AARON MOORER of raping her on several different occasions. He is soon to face charges that include several counts of criminal sexual conduct.

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. – Walking hand in hand with her mother, Hester, 24-year old HEATHER RENAE ELLIS, trudged grim-faced into the Stoddard County Missouri Justice Center for a pre-trial hearing Wednesday afternoon. The former pre-med student faces four felony counts and possibly fifteen years in prison that stem from a January 2007 arrest after allegedly “cutting in line” at a Kennett, Missouri Wal-mart.
Pastor Nathan Ellis says of his daughter, “She’s fighting for her life. This has been an outright attempt to destroy her future and assassinate her destiny and I’m proud of her for the fact that she’s standing on truth.” But, confronted with a change of venue in the nearly three year old case, Ellis and her family did not have to come alone to the small ultra-conservative Southeast Missouri community of Bloomfield where her trial is scheduled for November 18th.

Richmond County Board of Education Officer JAMES HOLMON was fired after an altercation with a student following a Richmond Academy football game on September 11. School officials said the officer was seen choking a 14-year-old and told the teen several times while stating “I will kill you.”
The altercation was witnessed firsthand by several school officials and caught on video from the body camera attached to the officer’s uniform. Holmon was put on administrative leave while under investigation.

Chicago POLICE Saturday were reviewing a video showing the melee that left a Fenger Academy High School student beaten to death this week.
DERRION ALBERT, 16, found himself in the middle of a deadly melee with dozens of teenage boys Thursday afternoon in a vacant lot outside the Agape Community Center, 342 W. 111th St., in the Roseland neighborhood. He was later pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
The video was obtained by Fox Chicago News and a copy was given to Chicago police, according to a Calumet Area detective.

Meanwhile, a candlelight vigil is being planned for Sunday afternoon in memory of Albert, according to his family.
Witnesses and police said Friday that the Fenger High School junior was not a target but simply passed by the community center from school and was swept into the violent altercation.
The honor roll student known for his love of computers became the third Chicago teenager slain this month. At least seven more have been shot.
Police and witnesses say the melee was a culmination of a simmering rivalry between two groups of Fenger students, one that lived near the school and the other from the Altgeld Gardens housing development. Neighbors said the feud has been building since August.
Police this afternoon said no one was in custody in connection with Albert’s death.

Cocoa, FL – A Channel 2 News crew came under attack on Monday while investigating a story about two teenagers who were reportedly working at a strip club in Brevard County.
The Playmates Nightclub in Cocoa remains under investigation for allegedly having a 15-year-old and 17-year-old working there in skimpy attire.
The reporter and photographer were looking for one of the teenagers but encountered a furious grandmother instead. A videotape recorded during the incident showed the grandmother charging the photographer with a garden hoe. One swing landed squarely on the camera.

RIFQA BARY, a 17-year-old teenager whose family is originally from Sri Lanka, fears that if she is returned to her parents in Ohio, she will be killed for converting from Islam to Christianity. Bary ran away from home earlier this month and took a bus to Florida after her parents found out she had converted to Christianity.
When police found Bary, she was staying with Reverend Blake Lorenz, pastor of Global Revolution Church. Fox reported that Bary said, “There is great honor in [killing me], because if they love Allah more than me, they have to do it. It’s in the Koran.”
According to legal experts contacted by Fox, Bary will most likely be sent back to Ohio, her original jurisdiction. A judge is expected to rule the appropriate jurisdiction for the case today.
