After proceeding up the block during some last minute shopping on the COOL! breezy pre-summer streets of California. I recall something in a storefront display that caught my attention: HOTT!!! Colors! HOTT!!! Style! HOTT!!! Fashion!... It was a little bit more than meets the eye!

PARISH-NATION! The latest salvo in an ongoing brand revolution brought to you by TONY SHELLMAN and the creators of the ENYCE clothing. Caters to the fashion forward, style conscious consumer, Parish has created original, inspired apparel that introduces bold, new color waves and designs into the contemporary sportswear market.

KANYEs TOP NOTCH FASHION HOOK-Ups

don’t hate the player, hate the couch that keep him in the game

Yeezy wants you to know how “in” he is with the high-ups in the fashion industry
givenchyparisfashionweekreadywearw091pgohjeomhwl

He’s so considerate.

KANYE WEST wants you to know how “in” he is with the high-ups in the fashion industry. The rapper-turned-designer is not only chummy with Marc Jacobs, with whom he collaborated on a line of sneakers for the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2009 collection, but he’s also apparently got the hook up with Vogue editrix Anna Wintour.

Yesterday Kanye posted a blog entry featuring a large image of Beyoncé Knowles’ new Vogue Cover with the headline, “I KNOW I’M MAD LATE …. ESPECIALLY SINCE ANNA TOLD ME BOUT THIS COVER BEFORE IT DROPPED.”

How sweet of Kanye to let everyone know where he gets his information!

On an unrelated tangent, is everyone peeping out Amber’s outfit in the above pic. DAMN!!! I’ll be honest home girl is so dangerously nasty it should be a crime. I mean she’s so nasty, I’ll probably tip her on payday. And OMFG did you hear her interview on Lip Service the other day.

She’s a straight up freak! I mean she turned me on so, it make some kinda’ want to go out and find me a bi-racial former baldhead stripper and get busy in t he champagne room.

And yes, as you may see you snooty bastards. I have no shame. LOL!

PAMELA ANDERSON HITS THE RUNWAY

Again, Pam follows in Jenna Jameson’s footsteps

Is it me or is some of Pam’s Plastic surgery is starting to give way?

RICHIE RICH, the NYC club kid-turned-fashion designer who co-founded Heatherette, loves his glitz.

The hard-partying designer reveled in “trash and flash,” using appearances on America’s Next Top Model and runway divas like Paris Hilton and Jenna Jameson to bring attention to his ultrasparkly, cartoonish designs. Unfortunately, not even Ms. Hilton could save the line from losing financial backing, and the label shut down last year.

Despite the recession, it seems the fashion world still has a place for glitter and false eyelashes. Richie Rich is back, full throttle. He even got the empress of trashy couture, PAMELA ANDERSON, to close his Wednesday evening fashion show in body glitter and a gold thong swimsuit.

Joining Pam on the runway were NYC socialite Tinsley Mortimer, ANTM’s CariDee English, and ex-Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day. Guess, Rich loves his blondes, eh?

Also in other news, KarmaLoop.com reports that:

Late last night Kanye West posted this preview on his blog showing the high-profile shoes bearing a glow-in-the-dark design. Its really hard to tell what the colors of the upper could be due to the glowing effect but you can clearly see two big velcro straps.

All we can say here at Datzhott is we hope that Kanye continues pumping out great product no matter what it is. And always be sure to continue shaking off the haters. All hail the great Yeezey on this fantastic move.

Beyonce was the most beautiful woman at the ball

By John Charles Reedburg

I always assumed that Bey would only look good naked.

But judging from last night I was wrong.

Musically, true and through, I’ve always been a huge  fan of BEYONCE.  And even though I am a guy and not huge authority on women’s fashion. I still have eyes and an opinion about the things I like to see. Therefore, I can honest say. My eyes were never able to fully apprecitae the weird anti-sartorial concoctions Beyonce’s mother has designed for Bey and her fashion line, House of Dereon over the years. But presently, my opinion has changed.

In looking back at last night’s Kennedy Center Honors, Beyomce was the most beautiful woman at the ball. Hands down, this is the most stunning dress I’ve seen Beyonce wear, and her hair and makeup complete the look in a most exquisite, retro way.

Sure, the tight mermaid silhouette is a bit unforgiving on her hips, and she’s probably having trouble staying upright with her knees cinched in like that. The fact remains that this Zuhair Murad gown looks stunning on B, who seems to favor body-hugging cuts that show off her ample hips.

Sigh. If only Beyonce could sprinkle some fairy dust on her little sister SOLANGE and get her to stop wearing outfits like these.

Seriously folks, I don’t mean to be rude. But doesn’t Solange look like an urban version of Punky Brewster meets the Spice Girls meets the Cheetah Girls meets the Mary Jane Girls meets a broken down version of Lil’ Kim after a trip to the Wild Kingdom at the San Diego Zoo. I mean wow-sers! She looks like a hooker on the whore stroll who’s wearing  an incomplete gorilla costume for Halloween.

And please, don’t let me get started on those pants. LOL!

Sorry Solange, didn’t mean to sound so nasty. But at the same time, you should be apologizing to my eyes for that giddup.

AMERICAN APPAREL CREATES JOBS FOR UNEMPLOYED HIPSTERS

// December 7th, 2008 // No Comments » // Hott Fashion, Hott Topics

but isn’t unemployment the common fad?

“J.C. Penney, Nordstrom’s and the Gap, for instance, all reported sales drops of at least 10 percent”

PEOPLE wait in line outside an American Apparel store December 4, 2008 in New York City. While unemployment in Manhattan is sharply up, American Apparel has been holding bi-weekly open calls for jobs at the youth oriented clothing store. Sales increased 6% for the month of November 2008 at American Apparel stores compared to November last year.

By John Charles Reedburg

Don’t get it. Aren’t hipsters usually rich kids.

When the economy turns rough, you discover your degree in Anthropological Philosophy (with a minor in Philosophical Anthropology) from Sarah Lawrence is worth “bupkis”, and your $950 rent is coming due, there’s got to be somewhere for a fashionable young person to turn. Luckily AMERICAN APPAREL, purveyor of non-sweatshop hoodies, t-shirts, and super short shorts for dudes, is holding open calls to work in their stores.

The LA-based company is booming when nearly every other retailer is plunging. The company reported that sales were up by six percent in November compared to November of last year. Meanwhile, nearly every other retailer in the country is saying that their own November sales are way, way down. J.C. Penney, Nordstrom’s and the Gap, for instance, all reported sales drops of at least 10 percent.

Still, while the company may be doing well, there may be some drawbacks. The company’s founder and CEO, Dov Charney, has been forced to settle out of court with four separate sexual harassment suits, with a fifth one still pending.

The company is also known for it’s very provocative, pseudo-porny advertising campaigns, which usually feature very young women in about one article of American Apparel and not much else. The company recently garnered further controversy by running a series of banner ads on websites that included outright nudity (NSFW).

All that said, there’s plenty of reasons for long lines for a job working there. The pay is about $4 an hour higher than your average retail worker, there’s discounts on chic clothes, and in this economic climate, a job is a job is a job.

Indeed, the average American Apparel would-be employee is more likely to be hurting in this climate. Recessions generally dampen the economic fortunes of recent college grads, so spending a few post-grad years peddling disco pants, fleece jackets, and tank tops may be a comparatively attractive option.
