Kanye is starting to become a real media whore! LOL!

KANYE WEST has pleaded not guilty to three criminal charges in connection with his alleged attack on a paparazzo in Los Angeles last year in 2008.

The rapper was charged with vandalism, battery and grand theft in March 2009 after he and his manager were arrested at LAX Airport in September of last year for allegedly lashing out at a photographer, smashing his camera and hurling abuse at him.

West’s associate, Don Crawley, was charged with two counts of vandalism, two counts of battery and two counts of grand theft.

The hip-hop star, who faces a two-year prison sentence, was absent from the courtroom on Friday sending his lawyer Blair Berk to enter his plea on his behalf.

Crawley, who could receive a five-year jail term, also pleaded not guilty at the arraignment through his attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley.

Another hearing is scheduled on July 15, 2009 for West and Crawley.

While on a trip with wife NICOLE RICHIE and infant daughter Harlow, JOEL MADDEN thought the paparazzi got a little too close for comfort.

While Joel and Nicole may be used to swarms of shutterbugs, Harlow wasn’t, and Madden says that flashes and noise frightened his daughter.

Lashing out in a long series of tweets on Twitter, the Good Charlotte rocker said:

“Let me just say shame on any magazine or blog that post pics of us in the Miami airport. The photographers were acting like animals.

it was the first time I’ve ever seen my child scared. Not cool for any parent to see. At least in LA they gave us some space.

These guys were sticking flashes in her face and bumping in to us and yelling. The most unnecessary force I’ve ever seen.

I get annoyed when people complain about photogs too, i mean leaving clubs and resturaunts you gotta’ expect it. But this was just wrong

And that’s all I’ll say about that. I guess its a different kind of animal that I will never accept or understand.”

After cooling off for a few minutes, Madden seemed to consider that perhaps a change of pace, or even religion, was in the works, replying to a concerned fan:

Some people invite it,  guess its exciting for the yonng’ns in hollywood. Maybe we should become quakers Luckily, Harlow herself is doing fine, with Madden saying that “She’s always a happy little girl. She was just scared and confused.” Madden has also encouraged magazines and websites to not purchase any photos of the family in the Miami airport. So far, according to Madden, many aren’t.”

So let this be a lesson to paprazzi: if you want to make any money off the Madden family, keep a respectful distance next time the family flies through Miami.

LIEV SCHREIBER says that he struggled with the attention from photogs when he first began dating NAOMI WATTS.

In an interview with the Courier Mail, the brooding actor who can be seen in this weekend in X-Men Origins: Wolverine says that there was a learning curve to dating an A-list movie star, especially when it came to learning to be around paparazzi.

From the Courier Mail:

“I was fine until Sasha came along and then I started to get aggro,” he says with a rueful laugh.”

“As an actor, I think I’d never kind of reached the heights of fame that Naomi had and so when she came into my life it was a real test on our relationship because I didn’t like that she was bringing all that attention with her and I think I probably blamed her for it in the beginning.

“But after a while, I acclimated to it and then, of course, Sasha was born and I had to acclimate to it all over again.

“As long as people can make money doing it, they’re going to do it and you have to deal with it – some days are better than others.”

Which shouldn’t come as any surprise to the shutterbugs that cover Schrieber and Watts.

Back in August of 2007, he flipped out on paparrazi who tried to follow him a bit too close while Schrieber carried his newborn child and limped on a broken foot. Schrieber reportedly turned on the man and screamed, “You f—ing disgust me. It’s a f—ing child and I have one f—ing foot.”
